Fall in Charleston

I couldn't move into Christmas season without posting some of our fall pictures. We had a November FULL of fun events, visitors, and a birthday (birthday pics to be posted separately!).

Piper had a blast in the pumpkin patch, corn maze, obstacle course, and hay ride at Boone Hall Farms.

We made some time to go hiking on the Palmetto Trail. P enjoyed walking... but mostly riding... so the monsters from the forest couldn't get her (of course).

One of our new friends, Mr. Michael, gave Piper a very special tour around his fire station, Engine 6, which was built in downtown Charleston shortly after most of the fire stations were destroyed in an earthquake in 1886. I'm quite certain P has a crush.

MeeMaw came to town just in time to dress up with Piper, who was a clown... which sounds totally creepy but was actually amazingly cute, as evidenced below. Piper's new friend Audrey invited her to come trick-or-treating and I dare say they were the most adorable pair out all night.

Grandpa Ray and Grandma Janet came to visit for a long weekend full lots of walking and LOTS of great eating! They tend to prefer being behind the camera rather than in front of it, but I was able to snap these cute pics after a gelato shop stop.

Most recently, the Morris family, Momma Mo, and Uncle Mo came to enjoy Charleston the week of Thanksgiving. We got to have some grown up time out and some family time sightseeing. Couldn't have been any better!

Not sure if we can top all this with winter, but we'll definitely try!!
